    Nice Post .. Rahul
    Hows You..?

Can you share some analysis of the recent amendments proposed in Electricity Act 2003 (Act)?

How far Open Access which was the major crux for promoting competition in the Act has been attained after 10 years of its framework?

      Hello Sir..Pleasure..:)
Well I will work on EA Amendments..
and reg ur 2nd question. Some of the reasons/arguments which can be cited are:
      – I think the ultimate purpose of introducing OA has not been achieved till now. Although there have been states where OA regulations (for eg Delhi) are there but various socio-political reasons has taken OA on the back foot.
-Also the charges involved in OA transactions are not clear at the state level which engulf the sole purpose of OA.
-To name a few States like UP, have barred industrial consumers to opt for OA
So i think sector needs to eliminate the loop holes reg the successful implementation of OA (Intra as well as Inter)

And sir, I will come up with a detailed article on OA which will require reviews/additions from experts like you. Thanks..

Thanks a lot Mr Kumudha. I agree with you and i think it has become an albatross around “govt’s” neck. I hope the newly formed government is able to do ramifications involved in it and ultimately lead to the betterment of the sector.
